Hospital Bag Checklist

Hospital Bag Checklist
I remember packing my hospital bag and repacking it, and then probably repacking it again. I have split this into my top picks and then have my main list below. I wrote this post well over a year ago (after giving birth) so it is very accurate to what I used and needed, I have just decided to update it slightly and post again, as I know a few mummies to be that might need it!

Top Picks

  1. Glucose Tablets; absolute saviour, I was downing these one after the other just before I was due to push after being awake 48+hours
  2. iPad; having ‘Sex and the City’ & ‘Frozen’ on in the background, during the early stages, provided a certain amount of light distraction
  3. Slippers; these are for after the birth (during labour I barely knew I had feet let alone what was on them), however after you will want them for the long walks to the toilet and shower
  4. Bendy straws; so your partner can feed you much needed liquids whilst you puff on gas and air, wow your mouth gets dry.
  5. Burt’s Bees lip balm; again your mouth gets drier than a camels hoof

Now here’s my complete tried and tested list…
